Box of Doom

"Box of DOOM"

I did it! I used a piece of cardstock that I have no idea where it came from or why I have it, and I knew I would never use! It was always being pushed back into the back of the box..lonely and curious what it's fate would someday be. When the opportunity arose for me to sign up for the "Box of Doom" paper challenge..I took it! I knew just the paper I was going to use!

Can you blame me for pushing this one to the back? It may be a good piece for someone that travels, or does scrapbook pages..but for a card maker, this was ugly! LOL It is an image of a wicker placemat with a plate and a set of chopsticks. The plate looks white but it does have light blue swirly images on it that my camera just didnt pick up.

I downloaded a purse template that I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use..and cut it from the "pretty" paper.

And wholah!

I then prettied it up with a flower cut from the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartirdge and a lil bling.

Now I wonder why I waited so long to use that paper! LOL
Now I cant wait to acquire more ugly paper!

I hope you enjoyed my project today, and I hope it inspired you to dig out your neglected paper and make something beautiful out of it!
